This project is a story from tool making until the production of handmade Brick out of demolition waste.Construction sites are producing great quantities of waste that are mostly just forgotten in fields due to the difficulty to recycle them. Particularly bulky to store,
annoying and polluting to move, complex to treat and sometimes toxic, these demolition waste are usually piled up in the open air
fields. This research analyses potentialities of waste focusing on crushed bricks, imagining a new cycle more virtuous from the resource to again a building material. For this reason this project focuses on handmade products, using local waste and turning them into new bricks using traditional raw earth techniques.
